I get stupid replies that are deleted right away

For some reason, on Reddit it’s really common for someone to reply with some stupid bullshit and then delete it right away.

They write it and hit send, you get the notification so you can read it, you curse their entire bloodline for asking such absurd questions and, when you go to reply (nicely), you realize they’ve deleted the comment.

It’s not an isolated incident. Now that I’m posting there a bit more, it happens several times every time I post something.

Maybe selection bias + lots of traffic. I find it curious.
