My current take on the main AI players
🧠 Anthropic - Good models. Sure.
But they’re crazy expensive. The interface is weak. And Claude Code is so slow it’s frustrating.
Good models… way too much hype.
🔷 Google and Gemini - Huge potential.
But mediocre UX and, worse, inconsistency. You give it clear instructions and it doesn’t always follow them. It changes formats, ignores constraints, improvises.
I can’t update Roast My Web to Gemini 3.1 Pro because it’s working so badly...
🚀 OpenAI - Consistency and quality.
Top models, good pricing, constant improvements. Really polished UX. They listen to the community and it shows.
It’s not just the model. It’s the whole product.
⚡ xAI - Not SOTA yet.
But it’s improving fast, low prices, good UX, and a few original ideas.
If they keep this pace, they could be a major player in 2026.
