On my trip to Cantabria, I did a via ferrata inside a cave and it was incredible 🪨 They take you inside a massive mine that connects to a natural cave. It’s huge inside. It’s like climbing and descending a mountain inside a cave.

Yeah, making over 100k a year is great. My main goal when I came to Switzerland was to find a better life: to escape the lower middle class and find hope for a brighter future.
🏆 What’s the best hotel in the world? And in Spain? A little off-topic thread about @levelsio’s new AI tool for booking hotels. Specifically, its stats tab caught my eye. There’s some pretty interesting stuff in there. I’ll leave the website at the end 👇
📊 If you go to the “stats” tab, this is what you find: It’s cool, yeah. But that’s not what caught my eye the most. It’s the ridiculously long list of terrible hotels in North America 😂 Something weird is going on there
And then comes the fun part: which regions and countries come out as the best and the worst? Well, the results are pretty surprising.
And for the curious... these are the highest-rated cities:
If you also factor in the price and calculate the rating per dollar spent... 🤑 then North America and Europe really do come out pretty badly And there’s one curious thing: Andorra is 14th from the top, so among the best. Meanwhile Spain is 16th from the bottom. So, among the worst.
And apparently Ibiza is almost the worst city in the world for value for money. And it seemed hard to beat.
And now for the awards 🎖️ This is the best hotel in the world. And it’s in Bali. 🏅 Kaura Bali To be fair, it’s cool. For around €100, it seems like a great option to me. But it doesn’t seem so incredible that I’d call it the best hotel in the world. So I’m guessing they are factoring price into the formula here, right?
Now, the best in Europe does look pretty damn good: 🏅 Merit Starlit Hotel This one looks a lot more luxury. It costs around €200-300 a night and it’s in Montenegro.
The best in Spain is an interesting one. It’s a 2-star hotel in Cádiz that costs €54 a night: 🏅 Tandem Solera And honestly, even if it’s nothing spectacular, it looks really good for that price. I can totally understand the positive reviews here
And finally... the best in Madrid? 🏅 Coolrooms Palacio de Atocha Around €250-300 a night, right in the center of Madrid. And honestly, it looks spectacular. Really, really good
