💰 Day 13 building an investment tool from scratch.
What am I working on now?
Mainly distribution.
I’m working on the SEO pages while the backend moves forward (what a surprise), and thinking about ways to distribute the product.
I’ve been looking into how other similar tools have done it and getting quite a few ideas. I’m also spending a lot of time improving my SEO game.
It’s incredible how much you can discover when you really start digging into things. I’m learning a ton.
Some of the SEO pages are already live and starting to get indexed by Google, though I’m still working on them.
I’m really looking forward to launching what will be the first part of the product:
👉 A list of all active cash M&A deals in the United States.
But with a level of detail and data verification I haven’t found in any other tool on the market.
I’m thinking through the funnel, and I think the most interesting thing will be to offer deal discovery completely free.
And if you want to track your deals, get alerts when the terms change, and access other tools, then you pay.
Anyway, I’m getting closer bit by bit.
The backend is still the main bottleneck. Once it’s ready, everything should move much faster.
But that’s exactly why this step is so important.
