Most people consume nonstop, but almost nobody creates. Sure, creating takes time and effort, but it’s infinitely more satisfying. A book, a YouTube video, a video game, or even a newsletter… Anything works. The important thing is to make something of your own.
I remember a long time ago, maybe 7 or 8 years back, reading someone on Twitter saying: “Writing on Twitter has changed my life. You reading this, do it. Put yourself out there.”
The more you share on X, the more natural it all feels. You get used to talking like you would to a friend, with fewer disclaimers and less context. Fewer clarifications and more controversial takes. that's the good stuff
Launching projects on Reddit is an art. If you get it right, you get a hugely powerful source of traffic. Usually, you don’t. Usually they insult you, downvote your post, and ban you before you even understand what happened. But when it works, it works. And it’s worth way more than 100 directories

I’ve got something new. Now I can see the sentence lengths on my blog. And it’s great. Writing sentences of the same length bores the reader. Everything sounds the same. The text becomes monotonous, flat, repetitive.

Growing my website to 20k visitors / month 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟧 94% Almost there! But last month was surprisingly good. I don’t think June will be as good, and visits will probably settle down a bit. We’ll probably fall back a little on our goal. Of course, I’m already improving the website and working to keep it growing 🚀
