The hard part is getting started, but once you get into the habit and make it stick.... that's when you feel like laying one more brick so it can compound over the long term.
And actually, I think the gym and investing are some of the easiest ones.
Even if it takes time to see results, I think you get more or less immediate positive reinforcement (how you feel after working out or seeing your stocks go up).
The hardest ones are the ones where you spend years without seeing any results. Where you can barely tell if you're doing it right or if you're just wasting your time.
