Doing things right only gives you a 40% chance of success. In such a complex world, chance determines most of what ends up happening. Doing things right simply skews the odds in your favor. Instead of succeeding 1 out of 5 times, you can get it to work 2 out of 5 times. And that’s more than enough, but it takes patience, repetition, and discipline.

We live in the age of molds. Templates for everything. Frameworks that promise results in days. Tools that do the work for you. Molds democratize. And that’s a good thing. But there’s something they’ll never be able to replicate.
