The trap of the century: • They sell you on the idea that “living life to the fullest” means spending 3 months’ salary on a trip to Bali. • But nobody tells you the best experience is not having to ask for time off to live your life. Real luxury is being in control of your time. Period.

I live in a constant contradiction: the world keeps showing me the absurd amount of money out there, while I still can’t capture much of it. It’s like a raging river flowing down the mountain, and I can barely drink from it with a teaspoon. The key is learning to build a glass, or better yet, a bucket.

People are impressed by high salaries, but a salary isn’t wealth. I earn well, but I’m undercapitalized because I’m young. Someone older, with a lower salary but more net worth, can afford to splurge more than I can. Net worth >>> Salary.
